DAY 1: Transfer from Kigali toGoma town in Democratic republic of Congo.

You will be picked by the driver/guide to Northern Province watching the rolling hills of Rwanda and arrive in gisenyi in lunch time. After lunch cross to Congo through goma border, enjoy the view of goma town as you proceed to bukima tented camp for dinner & Overnight.

DAY 2: Gorilla tracking in Virunga

Drive to Bunagana border with Congo, cross and drive to the Park Headquarters to be briefed about gorilla tracking guidelines before setting off into the forest to track gorillas in Virunga National Park for the great experience. As you track the Gorillas, you will be exposed to excellent birding and primates’ experience with the Golden Monkeys, Black and White colobus monkey, and giant forest hogs and many other species met on the way. Your one hour for observation and photography with these forest giants is so rewarding. Gorilla tracking through the forest can be tough and tiring sometimes taking up to 8 hours in the forest but so rewarding with a face to face contact with this great primate.

Return to Kisoro in Uganda relax a little at the hotel and set off for Kigali in Rwanda reaching in the evening and depart.
