Join a 1 day mount Bisoke Hike in Rwanda from Kigali and enjoy the beautiful crater lake at the top of the Volcano. Mount Bisoke is one of the 8 volcanoes in the Virunga Massif. The dormant volcano stands at 3,711 meters over the sea level and its summit shelters a permanent crater lake.

Detailed Itinerary
Very early in the morning, the driver guide will pick you from your hotel in Kigali or Entebbe international airport and drive northwards to Kinigi headquarters of Volcanoes National park. Register with the park and join a short briefing about hiking tips and safety precautions. From there, drive to the trail head of Bisoke hike and start off this 6 hours hike to reach the summit.

Enjoy scenic views of the Crater Lake, green vegetation of Volcanoes Park and other Virunga volcanoes, which are clearly seen from the summit.  Having enjoyed the beauty of this Volcano, hike down, meet your driver guide and transfer to Kigali airport for your return flight.
