Day 1: Arrival
Upon arrival at the airport at Arusha, meet your driver for a warm welcome to Tanzania and later, proceed to the pre-booked hotel in Arusha. Have a relaxed stay at the hotel awaiting the next day program.

Day 2: Tarangire –habitat to lots of baobabs, elephants
Embark on 2-3 hours’ drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park located in Southwestern Tanzania. Get to the park safely and early enough, check in at the lodge for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon, leave your comfortable place of stay for a game drive. Tarangire is renowned for its off-the-beaten track experiences and possible sightings for the day include leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and birds –over 550 avifaunal species exist in this park.

Day 3: Tarangire-Serengeti NP (forms Mara ecosystem)
Set off from Tarangire for Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO Heritage Site and home to world’s spectacle. Arrive early and you will have a picnic lunch, then proceed with a game drive as you connect to your respective safari lodges.

Day 4-5: Explore the wonders of Serengeti
You will have 2 days to explore Serengeti on a full day game drive. With an experienced guide, look out for the diverse wildlife species including waterbucks, elephants, gazelles, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, giraffes, elands, topis, lions cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and more.

Day 6: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater
Exit Serengeti National Park for Ngorongoro Crater. Navigate via the Maasai villages, and arrive at Ngorongoro early, relax at the lodge. Ngorongoro crater is one of the world’s heritage sites, also a natural wonder with the largest unbroken volcanic caldera measuring 264sq.km. At the base area, there are lots of wildlife to be spotted during a game drive including wildebeest, zebras, rhinos, hippos, spotted hyenas, cheetahs, wild dogs, leopards and many birds.

Day 7: Game drive and depart
Wake up early enough and have a delicious breakfast, after, set off for morning game drive. This incredible game viewing session allows you search for different wildlife, especially the early risers.

Expected sightings for the day include cape buffaloes, elephants, leopards, lions, rhinos, and many bird species such as secretary bird, martial eagle, kori bustards, long-crested eagle, golden-winged sunbird, ostriches and others.  After the game drive, proceed to Arusha and this marks the end of 7 days Tanzania safari.
