Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Today, your 3 days Murchison Falls safari starts with breakfast early in the morning and after, you will be driven to Murchison Falls National Park. Your road trip covers about 4-5 hours although this depends on number of stopovers and driver’s speed. You will make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking. After, drive to Masindi Town where you will have enjoyable lunch and later, connect to Murchison Falls National Park via Kichumbanyobo gate. Arrive early enough and pay a visit to the top of the falls for magical view of scenic Murchison Falls.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat trip

Have breakfast and later, set off for morning game drive via the Northern circuit of Murchison Falls National Park in a 4×4 safari car plus guide. While here, expect to see several wildlife species including bush elephants, buffaloes, leopards for the lucky ones, lions, birds, warthogs, giraffes and many others. Your game viewing experience can last for about 2 to 3 hours and after, you will come back for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, you have a boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls and along the way, you will have incredible view of hippos, crocodiles, water birds and beautiful vegetation at the edge of the Nile. At the bottom of the falls, you can choose to get back in a boat or hike to the top and have amazing view of the waterfalls’ powerful roar and photography then return in a car.

Day 3: Drive back to Kampala

Get up early in the morning to enjoy your breakfast and embark on game drive to the northern circuit to lookout for the wildlife species that you left out the previous day. The wildlife species to look out include giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, leopards, lions, birds and many others. After, your driver guide will drive you back to Kampala or Entebbe.
