Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Pick up by our driver guide at hotel in Kampala or Entebbe after your breakfast and then embark on road trip to southwestern Uganda to Bwindi National Park via Masaka-Mbarara route. You will have a stopover at Equator for photography and in Agip hotel or Igongo Cultural Center for lunch. Proceed to Bwindi National Park and check in at your lodge of choice.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park
Gather at the Bwindi park offices for Briefing on gorilla trekking rules and regulations after breakfast. You will gather at anyone of the following trailheads depending on your permit; Ruhija, Buhoma, Rushaga and Nkuringo, each of these has habituated families set for tourism but only one will be assigned to you to trek in a group of 8 people. Because this adventure is unpredictable, you need to ensure that you have some packed snacks and bottled water. Usually, it takes about 2-6 hours which also includes one hour of face to face encounter with gorillas, photography. After, you will get back to the lodge to relax and in the afternoon, you will visit the Batwa community for cultural exploration.

Day 3: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will check out from you lodge and then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is Uganda’s second largest of all the ten national parks. Arrive early enough and rest then embark on evening game drive to see buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, birds and many others.

Day 4: Game drive and launch cruise at Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on a game viewing experience via Kasenyi wildlife trail. The wildlife species to look out include bush elephants, buffaloes, African lions, leopards, antelopes, warthogs, birds that make up 620 birds in the park while also enjoying the breathtaking sceneries, landscape. This will take you about 3-4 hours and after, drive back to the lodge to have lunch. At 2:00pm, you will take part in launch trip on Kazinga Channel which links Lake George to Lake Edward. This comes with astonishing views of hippos, crocodiles, water birds and other wildlife species.

Day 5: Drive to Kibale National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on chimpanzee trek in Kyambura Gorge and after connect to Kibale National Park. A chimpanzee trek in Kyambura Gorge also gets you a chance to look out for other primates including black and white colobus monkeys, bird species, unique flora and others. Drive to Kibale National Park to check in at your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking and guided nature walks in Bigodi Wetland
Join other visitors at Kanyanchu Visitor Center after breakfast to have briefing on the set guidelines for chimpanzee tracking that begins at 7:00am and at 8:00am, you set off on actual trek together with park ranger guide. This will go for 2-4 hours and it also comes with amazing sights at other primates including black and white colobus monkeys, olive baboon, red tailed monkeys, L’Hoest monkeys as well as forest birds, flora and many more.
After one hour of magical encounter with chimps, return to the lodge to have lunch and rest then in the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland for a guided nature walk. This gets you astonishing sights at variety of primates such as black and white colobus monkeys, L’Hoest monkeys, red colobus monkeys, baboons as well as other mammals, birds including the Great Blue Turaco.

Day 7: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park which is 7 hours’ drive. Arrive early enough and head off to the top of the falls to witness the roaring Murchison falls as it squeezes itself into a narrow gorge of 7 meters. After, you will connect to your respective lodge to rest, dine and spend a night.

Day 8: Game viewing and launch trip at Murchison Falls National Park
Start your day with tasty cup of tea or coffee and after, meet the driver guide and embark on early morning game drive along the northern circuit of Murchison Falls National Park. While here, expect to encounter the Rothschild giraffes, African lions, antelopes, bush elephants, buffalos, birds, warthogs and others. This wildlife experience will last you about 2-3 hours and after, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch and rest. At 2:00pm, you will take part in a launch cruise to the bottom of Murchison falls which gets you magical view of hippos, crocodiles, water birds including kingfishers, bee-eaters and many others.

Day 9: Transfer to Kampala
